Susan M. Wiggins, MA, LPC, CAADC, is a licensed professional counselor in the States of Ohio and Michigan, and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Susan graduated from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where she completed an undergraduate degree in Mental Health & Human Services, as well as a Master of Arts in Counseling, with a Certificate in Christian Counseling. She brings a passion to her counseling with the integration of the Catholic faith as a fundamental dimension of therapy. She enjoys working with all populations, as well as premarital counseling preparation and substance abuse issues. She has been a member of the Michigan Mental Health Counselor Association and has worked in the areas of trauma, inner child and play therapy, CBT modes primarily, but with an eclectic dimension as well. Her work experience is vast and varied! On the pastoral level, she is trained in the Project Rachel ministry, serving as the retreat team therapist for the past 9 years, as well as working with individual referrals for post-abortive women and men. She has been married to Preston (Pete) Wiggins for 23 years. They have enjoyed travel, pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Rome and Medjugorje and even lived in Australia for a year (and worked in the legal field while there!). She has also enjoyed leading a women’s bible study and volunteering as a CCD teacher over the past decade.
